The field is equipped with four tracks designed for different types of impact. The launch tracks are automated and have different inclinations with respect to the axis of the device to be tested; they allow the vehicles to reach, with maximum precision, the speed required for the test, perfectly maintaining the set trajectory. In the areas where the tracks with various inclinations have been installed, there is also a track dedicated to crash tests on road devices for the protection of motorcyclists.

Finally, one track is mainly dedicated to frontal and point impacts, such as anti-intrusion and anti-terrorism devices and one is used for rail impacts.
