Third Edition of the International Conference on Road Safety: “The evolution of road equipments for a sustainable and safe future. What will change on urban and extra-urban roads?“
The Third Edition of the International Conference on Road Safety will be held on 9 and 10 November, organized by AISICO, by ERF – European Union Road Federation and, this year, also by IntOroadS – International Organization for Road Safety a non-profit organization meeting point between operators in the sector and road users, created with the intention of adapting current legislation to changing needs.
A more extensive focus, compared to past editions, on “Passive Safety”, on all the road equipment present along urban and extra-urban roads and with the intention of stimulating a debate between different points of view (public institutions, road operators, users of the street, manufacturers). Four sessions in which the state and evolution of road equipment will be examined to meet an ever-increasing demand for safety in a world that is increasingly moving towards sustainability.
MAXXI EVENING EXPERIENCE
18.30 – 20.30 – Exclusive tour of MAXXI
At the Conference’s conclusion, participants will have the opportunity to discover Zaha Hadid’s design for MAXXI, the Museum’s collection and the temporary exhibitions together with history specialists in a private guided tour.
20.30 – Networking dinner at the Mediterraneo. Ristorante e Giardino inside the museum spaces
Mediterraneo. Ristorante e Giardino is MAXXI’s new restaurant. An encounter between East and West, with a focus on typically Mediterranean specialities.
MAXXI – Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo
November 9th, the first day of the Third Edition of the Conference, will take place in the splendid location of the MAXXI Museum, designed by Zaha Hadid Architect, in the Flaminio district of Rome, where innovation and architecture merge, within the spaces of the national museum dedicated to contemporary arts.
In addition to the two museums, MAXXI includes an auditorium, a library and a media library, a bookshop and a cafeteria, spaces for temporary exhibitions, outdoor spaces, live events, workshops and commercial activities, as well as a wide range of spaces exhibitions and spaces for study and free time.
AISICO Test House & LAB
The second day, november 10th, will take place at the AISICO Test Center, in Marsica, in Abruzzo, about 50 km from Rome, in an area of 80,000 square meters which extends over the “Piana del Cavaliere” near Pereto (AQ).
In this area, AISICO has created a unique structure for the sector, on the European and international scene, where all the complementary and support services for carrying out crash tests are present.
The Test Center also has a spherical structure that can accommodate over 200 people, a large multifunctional area that can be used for catering, for hospitality, for outdoor meetings.
